What is included in the rental price?
Every rental at Troisa includes: unlimited kilometres, full insurance (civil liability + collision damage waiver), free additional driver, free child or booster seat, free airport meet & greet, free hotel delivery within branch cities, 24/7 roadside assistance and free cancellation if you pay on arrival.
Do I need a deposit to rent a car in Tunisia?
Yes — Troisa holds a security deposit by category: economy 500-800 TND, compact 800-1200 TND, SUV 1500-2000 TND, luxury 3000-5000 TND. It can be a credit-card pre-authorisation (not debited) or cash in TND, EUR or USD. Refunded within 7-14 business days after undamaged return.
What is the minimum driver age and licence requirement?
Minimum age 21 with a valid licence held for at least 1 year. Drivers 21-24 may have a young-driver surcharge on premium categories. EU/UK/US/Canadian licences are accepted directly; other nationalities need an International Driving Permit. No upper age limit.
What is your fuel policy?
Fair full-to-full: the car is delivered with a full tank and you return it with a full tank. If you return less, you pay for the missing fuel at the local pump price plus a 20 TND service charge. No prepaid-fuel obligation.
Can I take a Troisa rental across the Tunisian border?
No. Borders with Algeria and Libya are restricted for rental vehicles (insurance), and there is no land border with Morocco. Cross-border driving voids insurance and forfeits the deposit.
Can I rent an automatic transmission car?
Yes — automatics in every category: Hyundai i20 Auto, Renault Symbol Auto, Kia Sportage Auto, Dacia Duster Auto, Toyota Fortuner Auto, Mercedes E-Class Auto. Automatics are 20-30% pricier per day than manual, and stock is limited in summer — book at least 2 weeks ahead.
Can I pick up in one city and drop off in another?
Yes — one-way rentals between Troisa branches are supported. Tunis to Enfidha is FREE for 5+ day rentals. Other one-way fees: Tunis→Monastir 100 TND, Tunis→Djerba 250 TND, Tunis→Tozeur 200 TND. Choose a different drop-off location on the booking form.
